Linktree alternatives: 7 link-in-bio tools compared

Linktree made the link in bio popular, but it is not the right fit for everyone. Here are the best-known alternatives next to Linktree itself: who each tool suits, what it costs, what it does well and where it differs. Every entry links to a detailed one-to-one comparison.

Full disclosure: we make LinkHarbor, and it is on this list. Facts about the other tools come from their public websites and were checked on . Where another tool does something better, we say so.

Hosting and data protection

For a business in the EU, the first question is often where the data lives. Wonderlink and Paths.to host in Germany. LinkHarbor processes everything in its Frankfurt data centre, keeps backups in the EU, counts visits with one first-party cookie and no third-party tracker, and provides a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR on request. Linktree runs on US infrastructure and its conversion tracking relies on Meta Pixel or Google Analytics; Beacons and Stan Store are US-based. Bio.link publishes no hosting details. How to choose

Start from the job the page has to do, not from the feature list.

  • Linktree

You want the name everyone recognises and a plain list of buttons you update now and then.

  • Wonderlink

You run a small business in Germany or Austria and want a cheap, simple page on German servers, and you do not need your own domain.

  • Paths.to

Short links and QR codes matter more to you than the page, and the data should stay in Germany.

  • Beacons

You sell digital products from your bio, want e-mail and SMS marketing in the same dashboard, and can live with the fee on the Free plan.

  • Bio.link

You need a free page with unlimited links for a hobby or side project, and nothing more.

  • Stan Store

Your business is coaching, courses or bookings and the checkout should be the page.

  • LinkHarbor

You need your own domain, a team, an API, subscribers you can reach with a push, or processing in the EU with a DPA.
