How to report a page that breaks the law or our rules, what happens after a report and how to appeal against a suspension.
A LinkHarbor page shows illegal content, a link leads to a scam site, or someone is using your images without permission? Then you can report it. This article explains how to report, what happens next and what you can do if your own page has been suspended.
What you can report
- Illegal content on a page under linkharbor.com or on a custom domain that runs through LinkHarbor
- Phishing, fraud or malware via a link on a page
- Copyright infringement
- Violations of the Terms of Service, such as automated scraping or infrastructure abuse
Please don't report a vulnerability in LinkHarbor itself here; follow our rules for responsible disclosure instead.
How to report
- On the page
- Click “Report” in the page footer. You'll land on our Report content page.
- In the app
- Under “Settings” → “Legal & help” → “Report content”.
- By e-mail
- Write to abuse@linkharbor.com.
For us to review your report, it needs:
- The full address of the affected page
- A description of why you believe the content is unlawful or breaks the rules
- Your contact details for follow-up questions
We act on anonymous reports too, but then can't tell you the outcome. This reporting channel is the notice-and-action mechanism under Art. 16 of the Digital Services Act (DSA).
What happens after a report
- You receive an acknowledgement of receipt
- We review the report promptly and impartially
- Where there is well-founded suspicion, we disable or remove the content: depending on severity, individual content, a page or the whole account
- We notify you and the page owner with our reasoning, to the extent the law allows
Repeated unfounded or bad-faith reports may lead us to reject further reports from the same person.
If your page has been suspended
LinkHarbor can suspend an account, a page or individual content where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of the terms, applicable law or third-party rights, in the event of a security risk, or where we are legally required to. In serious cases this happens immediately; otherwise we notify you in advance where practicable and give you time to fix the issue. The rules are in section 10 of the Terms of Service.
- Page or workspace offline
- Instead of your page, visitors see “Page not found”. See Visitors see an error page.
- Account blocked
- Signing in is no longer possible. The app shows “This account is blocked.”
Appealing a decision
If you think a decision is wrong, whether as the person who reported or as the page owner, you can appeal. Write to abuse@linkharbor.com, the same address that handles reports, or use the contact options on our Support page. Name the affected address and explain why you think the decision is wrong.
Not to be confused with: suspension over a payment
If a workspace is suspended because a payment was still outstanding at the end of the grace period, that has nothing to do with a report. In that case the owner receives the e-mail “Your workspace has been suspended”, and once the payment goes through, everything is active again immediately. See Cancelling, downgrading and failed payments.
